North East London Wedding Photographer
I have been photographing town hall weddings for over twenty years, and I still love it. Every single one is completely different, and that is exactly the point.
My style is visual storytelling and documentary. Images that speak with emotion are what I am looking for. I will use a small amount of direction when I feel it's needed but keep it looking totally natural. Bride and grooms can feel awkward sometimes so I'll gently promt you, and move quietly through the day capturing real moments as they happen.
I shoot a lot at Hackney Town Hall, Say I Do Islington, Old Marylebone Town Hall, and Chelsea Town Hall. I also work at smaller, independent East London venues such as The Hackney, Clapton Country Club and at country houses, barns and farms in Kent, Sussex and Surrey. I am based in Stoke Newington, so anywhere in North and East London is home territory, but I cover the whole city and well beyond.
I am a female photographer, which a lot of couples tell me makes a real difference, particularly for the more personal moments of the day. I am calm, friendly, and experienced enough to know when to step forward and when to vanish. Most of the time you will barely notice I am there. Which is exactly what I am going for.

A FEW THINGS PEOPLE ASK ABOUT MY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES
WHAT IT'S LIKE WORKING WITH ME?
We start with a call before you book, so you can ask me anything and I can understand what matters to you. I will talk you through the timeline, flag anything worth thinking about, and generally reassure you that it is all going to be fine. Because it always is.
On the day I arrive early, have a good look at the light and the spaces, and then get on with it quietly. I do not need much from you. Just be yourselves, and let the day happen. The pictures will take care of themselves.
Couples often remark afterward on how I helped them truly relax on the day and mixed well really with their guests.
PACKAGES & PRICING
I offer half-day and full-day coverage, starting from £100 booking fee. Every package includes a full high-resolution digital gallery with download rights and my natural editing style. For pricing details, head to the pricing page or just drop me a message and I will send everything over.
HOW MANY WEDDING PHOTOS DO COUPLES USUALLY RECEIVE?
Enough. More than enough. The number varies with the package and the length of the day, but you will not be left wondering where the rest of them are.
WHEN WILL WE GET THEM?
Typically within six to eight weeks. I will keep you posted if anything looks different.
DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE LONDON?
Yes. Kent, Sussex and Surrey are a regular thing. Anywhere else, just ask.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH SMALL LONDON WEDDINGS?
Yes, lots! My Bronze package is suitable for small London weddings.
CAN WE MEET BEFORE BOOKING?
Absolutely. A call before you commit is completely standard. I would rather you feel sure than rush into it.

MY STYLE
I offer natural. storytelling style wedding photography which means I will direct you in certain moments, like during your couple portraits unlike a documentary photographer, but I do it with prompts, that keeps it natural rather than overly posed. I tell your wedding story as it unfolds, through visual narrative. I aim to be unobtrusive and in the right place at the right time to capture all the excitement, nerves and laughter of the big day. I understand family group shots are also important, but I recommend no more than about ten.
I enjoy capturing those magical, quirky moments which express the spirit of your day. It might be your crazy bridesmaid, your novel transportation to the ceremony, the best man dabbing the groom’s brow, a bridesmaid’s smile across the aisle, or Grandma grinning through her champagne flute.
At a time to suit, we can take a break from your guests for some bride-and-groom portraits where I can capture you interacting naturally with just a little bit of prompting. Depending on the location we could walk through an East London market capturing the buzz, or you could be eating an ice cream by the canal, sashay over a zebra crossing or hanging out in the local park.
I like to think I'm a pretty relaxed, friendly person and so hopefully that will ease any nerves you may feel. I find talking to you before the day and during the getting-ready part really helps you to feel at ease in front of the camera, and I also try to blend in and become part of the party at the reception so your guests feel relaxed with me too.
I love the editing process as much as the photography itself, and the days spent afterward subtly retouching your images to create the polished look you see here in my work. I aim to have the images ready for you in six weeks, although sometimes eight in peak summer. Photobooks will take a little longer, as the layout needs to be designed and approved by you, before printing. Expect your A4 20-page photo book to be completed in October onwards for summer weddings.
